Van these days are easy to drive. It's not much different from a car. Unloaded they can be fairly quick. Loaded they slow down but in a driving assessment you won't be racing around. Just take a bit more time and care. I am sure it will be fine.

kl- No i haven't been told anything apart from a call to arrange train tickets which should arrive in a couple days- a few people in the thread got their unform before start date so hopefully it shows up next week some time and we can get a chance to try it on smile

You'll be fine. You tend to go in pairs, each doing 1/1.5 hours driving each.

I am sure I read in this thread somewhere that someone did one day, which was about week 6 in the training, they climbed the poles 15 times in one day.

I climbed roughly 30 times during poles steps and ladders course, was absolutely knackered after! All good fun though!

I will get some practice in on a relatively high ladder before training, that's the only part I'm a bit nervous about. All good fun though, after I've done it once or twice I will be fine! Hell of a track to Butlins Yarnfield from Swansea for 6 weeks as well! Lol!

Infrastructure delivery is installing new parts of the network. New build sites etc. Pulling new cables etc and installing new plant.
