I am not sure if I will wear a tie. I will wear a very nice shirt I have and suit trousers. I just don't want to be underdressed but I doubt that will be the case as it says smart casual. I think I will take a laptop type bag with me for a few bits.

I am starting this month, but I am going to be moving in with my girlfriend shortly after(she lives in the same town I do) or possibly before would this cause any problems with parking the van?

I know they are tracked so how would I make them aware I am parking somewhere else?

I would say that any company they should have a process for it. I would think speaking to your manager or HR department would easily sort it out.

Just wondering if you went up to Yarnfield and for how long mate? Some say I will be there for 2 weeks some say 6 weeks? Either way I don't mind id just like some clarification and calculate how many miles I'm going to be doing from Swansea! I seem to have had an earlier start date than most as well. Found out I've got the job and start date 3 weeks later! Training for Fibre Jointer according to my job offer.

Thanks fella 😀

Easy just tell your manager . Also send them a e mail and BCC yourself a copy.

these comments are my own and in no way represent any company that i may or may not be linked too.

I did 2 weeks in Yarnfield mate then stayed 4 weeks up in cardiff. The cardiff training was all the practical and technical stuff. Although may be different as your fibre jointing.
Fibre jointer is meant to be really good everyone I have met in the field so far wants to get into fibre!
