Anybody starting September 17/18th? If you are have you had any info, sent all my tasks off weeks ago just wondering if anyone knows anything else about that intake. I haven't been told what role I'm doing yet just that I'm at Port Talbot exchange; is there any way I can find out?

The exchanges they attach you too don't really mean much normally just a local one they use it as a mailing address for some reason. My exchange is like 5 miles from my house, but my local one is 2 minutes away!
Unless they state otherwise before hand you'll probably be CALOMI (normal copper engineer) when I started there was a period of 2 months before starting I didn't hear anything so just wait a week or so before your start date and someone will make contact.

From reading the thread it's hopefully an early get away on the first Friday. I'm starting tomorrow too, are you travelling far?

On the train to stoke now from Euston, should arrive just gone 7.

For those asking once you get a job offer it goes quiet until around 2 weeks before your start date so don't panic you've not been forgotten!

My exchange is about 40 mins away and has been pretty much where my work has come from or at least the area around it anyway and since it's city centre Manchester that pretty much means I've had to give my hours travel every day.
Last managers day today before i go live though and i did get a saturday during my buddying where the work was more centered around where i live so hopefully thats how it will be once im live.

My comments are my own and represent my opinion only not that of any person or company I may have links to.
