If you are unable to park at home for any reason, you can leave your van at the local exchange. You would then travel to your exchange on a morning to pick up your van and then leave it there at the end of your day.

Hi Dave, I have my assessment next Tuesday and the health & safety questions worry me a bit. I've been working in an office for the last 10 years so dont have much to worry about apart from looking away from my screen now and again haha. How in depth do they go with this?

You must have H&S in your job.
Some sort of manual handing? Body position when sitting? Eye strain from using the computer all day?
What about at home? Do you do diy? do you look at a situation and jump straight in or do you have a look at the situation and look for danger?

Yeh Jem8472 is right you need to think outside the box I used to work it the motor trade I stood on van scuttle panels to paint roofs had never really had any understanding of health and safety, my current job is really strict on it I just used an example in that role .

Would you leave boxes next to your desk someone could fall over ?stray cables ? Delivery items left lying ?

Thanks guys, that does make sense. Hopefully I'll be able to give them what they're looking for. The customer service part is ok as i deal with difficult customers every day.

That's the question I am most worked about as last time they didn't feel my answer was good enough.

Hey buddy,

Do you have any idea which building it is in South Shields, as my assessment day is this week too? Is it the round building that the postcode they give you takes you to on maps?

Kind regards smile

What did you speak about last time? I think I have a good idea about what I would talk about if I got asked that question.

Harder one for me is dealing with an irate customer. I understand exactly how to deal with them, but don't have an example that springs to mind. I get the feeling you might be dealing with customers like that quite often if successful haha.

MrAshieB

Hi mate, its very close, its on the opposite side of the road to the round building on google maps.

You really cant miss it. Big glass building with massive BT sign on the front lol it backs out onto the river.

If you head behind the building towards the river then turn left (instead of right behind the BT building,) there is a free carpark right there.

Best of luck!
