I'll just say 30 mins from the centre of Glasgow as don't want to give too much away on here etc. lol.

Do they ask you if you have holidays booked on the phone then work out your start date from that or do they have your start date sorted before they let you know it?

Yeah they ask about holidays on the phone. It sounds pretty flexible to just slot you into a group later on in the year if something is booked. No problem at all I think.

July thatís ages away as well. Did you get offered an earlier start date but couldnít take it? You done your assessment in Glasgow didnít you?

I really donít want to be waiting that long to start I was hoping it would be April at the latest.

Yeah I think they can only have so many from each area training at one time for the buddying part. March was full I was told and next available slot for me was June. Not sure if that would be different for others assigned different areas though! Not too bad as lets me get my uni stuff out of the way first.

Wow, June is a long wait. Hopefully it is set areas that are like that as my current contract runs out in March. Might hear soon as I think you were the assessment day before me. Fingers crossed.
Least you are booked up for training now.
