Iíve been given my start date via a conversation on the telephone. Now just waiting for the contract before I can hand my notice into my current employer. Nervous but excited now.

I am now heading off to my assessment day. Feeling a little bit nervous but feeling confident.

The traffic seems to be flowing ok so hopefully the drive down will be good.

Best of luck! It will be nothing to worry about with the amount of prep and thinking you have done. Let us know how you find it!

I had my assessment this afternoon in Ipswich, hello to anyone else that was there, it all went well.

I had the practical assessment first which was good. It seems really complicated when they are explaining it but once I got going it was not too bad. I like the mix of things they get you to complete.

The first interview went well. The interviewer was really friendly and it seemed to go very well.

The second interview was harder to tell as the guy did not really give anything away. I don't feel as confident about that one.

The English and Maths assessment was ok. Nothing to worry about.

A good mix of people there, different ages and backgrounds and one woman. She was slightly surprised to be the only woman on the assessment day.

Well I have a job at the moment so I would not mind having to wait for a start date. As long as I get one.
