Hi guys. I'm currently completing my final tasks.
Wow there's alot to do!

Bank mandate form
Life assurance form

Any help much appreciated
I've searched high and low in my emails and new starter portal but no joy.

Email pay.group@bt.com for mandate, it may be just in an attachment.

They do life insurance at induction not part of checks.

Hope this helps.

First applied May 16.Started my training May 17.Left Openreach yesterday.

Basically had a d@ck of a manager who wasn't interested when I was struggling once went live.....asked for more buddying and was told NO.

Was never off my back. Moaned when jobs got sent back etc...didn't take in to account how far I had to travel in between each job.

Not the company I thought they were and just glad no longer there!!

Read other forums and you will see others that was in same boat as myself.

All management are interested in is stats and productivity!!!

That's a shame you had a bad experience. I have a friend that does it and he enjoy's it. The problem is in every company you will have bad managers. I hope you manage to find something you like.

I felt the training wasn't long enough.

SVQ/NVQ was also a nightmare especially when trying to learn a new job,and then having to do some in the evenings.

If you're not technically minded like myself, then I'm afraid you will struggle!!

Just a number to management and you will be out the door.

That's a shame. I have read experiences like that. I'm hoping that if you have a science and engineering background then it should be ok. My goal is to work in the field for a few years and then specialise or move towards management once my masters is finished. Fingers crossed for a decent manager then!
