Done Glasgow assessment in jan, got my job offer this morning, just along the road from me !!! Got a start date of 12th March problem is we’re having baby in June, email says no holiday in first 8 weeks so hopefully that’s ok

That's exciting. Is that after completing all the tasks?

I only have one more thing to do on their list. I also have to hand my notice in at work.

Yeah. Done all the tasks apart from sending back my disclosure Scotland certificate. Handing in my notice was a lot harder than I thought it would be, but the next chapter is going to be so exciting.

I printed a form off online filled it in, scanned it and e mailed it over. Found it at http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/forms/starterchecklist.pdf

I thought a p45 was supplied by your current employer once you have finished.

make sure u both send your p45 to payroll as they say u can take them to yarnfield but they will just look at u like ur daft as they wont have or speak about anything to do with wages!!

if u go online its just a temp p45 so u get on right tax code,u have till at least 3 weeks into ur training to get it over to payroll so post it of aswell so u dont go on basic tax rate
