They should just put us all in Yarnfield together we've been on this forum for over a month chatting away haha
The waiting is killing me, probably my own fault for celebrating getting the role and telling everyone at work!
There was 7 different areas around where i live recruiting as I live about half mile from Newcastle City Centre, I was hoping that would mean a quick start date ... that hope has slowly faded! I've eventually stopped refreshing my emails ha!
Great to see everyone being successful though, don't think anyone on here since Jan has failed the assessment day!

Just got confirmation of my assessment date. 21st Feb in the AM session at Birmingham! Anyone been there who can say where it is in relation to the NCP car park? (which I guess I'll be using!). Google Street View must be out of date as I can't spot the place.

alright, bud.

I was there last month. almost directly opposite is a car park, I think its hilltop car park or hill view. something like that. £8 quid for the day. not ideal for cost but very easy to get to, park up and walk over.

The b'ham assessment is enjoyable tbh. all the staff there are sound. I had a bit of a good cop bad cop on the two interviews but they ask you questions you can easily answer. just go into depth on them and don't use one line answers.
I wasn't keen on the English and maths exam but its no bother really. the practical test is fun. very monkey see monkey do with some common sense.
I met some sound lads as well. gives you a good idea of the personalities of the company.

I had feedback 7 days later via email saying I passed. so don't worry if it takes more than 5 days.

Best of luck buddy!

NCP car park is about 20 steps from the frount door, gray sides, small enterance.

I was the same mate. Told everyone at work to wind them up, now feel a bit of an idiot as they all keep asking haha should have kept mouth shut.

Just doesnt feel as exciting now as it did the few days following passing the assessment.

Ah thanks for the info! I found the same thing with the interviews last year. One wasn't 'bad' as such but kept quiet and didn't give much away compared to the other guy that was encouraging me to get more info in my answers.
