Yes I know what you mean. I am starting on the 12th March. Just waiting for my CRB check to come back.

Yes I am. I only have 16 shifts left to work. I am a bit nervous about it as I have been at the same company for 13 years. I am looking forward to learning something new and doing something different.

Haha Get in!
Bet you are over the moon! Hopefully they are rattling through the Jan assessment passers now!
Do they email you if you miss the phone call? I get zero signal at work so would hate to think I have been missing the call for the last 4 weeks.
Some really good insight off the lads already in the job, its impossible to find this sort of info so cheers lads!

Also good news all.

Had a weird one yesterday, after posting that reply about not hearing back, got the call about an hour later and was offered the 26th March start date. What a result as my current job contract is up on the 24th. smile

I reckon what swung the early start date for me was I have no holidays and my notice is a week and that is even negotiable.

Hopefully you guys hear soon form the Glasgow assessments, need a train buddy haha

Amazing mate! That's excellent. I'm going to email and see what they say. What's the best email to get them at, do you know?

Made up mate, I reckon they will just run through those that dont have holidays within 8 weeks of the next available dates. I think they do send an email if you miss the call. Someone mentioned a few pages back they got an email saying just to give them a call back.

Just need to wait on the contract coming in and doing all the checks.

I just replied to the email Brigitte sent out initially. Didnt get a response until the phone call but she did mention the email so at least she reads them haha

Cant hurt to give it a bash, got my location which is 15/20mins, however it is farm land so that will be fun smile

Awesome mate. I think I might be a bit rural too, so I'm sure that presents some interesting challenges haha. Check your PMs!
