Does anyone know how BT contact your current employer for references? Phone or email?

Firstly don't think of it as a test its just an assessment and its only to see if your an idiot or not to be fair. Seems it varies from instructor to instructor the time and scope of what you do but having been an instructor I can tell you all they are looking for is a safe considerate and legal drive.

Just be prepared if your under 21 you're automatically classed as high risk. Bt may ask you after you've been with them for a few months to do a whole day with a guy from an external company who teaches you how to drive safely and economically. It's actually a really good day.

You fill your references in on line, with their contact details

BT contact your references as soon as you submit them. If you read back through all the previous posts this has caused a few people issues.

Yeah that's about right, nearly 70 on my intake, 100 next week hen whoever is doing local training there.

Really enjoyed my 1st week! Looking forward to next week but also glad to home for a couple of nights to see the family.
