anyone start training on 17th July? Received an email yesterday confirming start date/ hiring manager etc- the excitement is in overdrive

I know FVR is fault volume reduction, but what does CAL/OMI mean?

I'll be based in hetton le hole near Sunderland but I haven't had anything formal about the training schedule yet.

Niceee.. Have they contacted you about training schedule and all that other good stuff? They haven't contacted me yet about travel and training but i guess start day is still 4 weeks away.. waiting anxiously

This was the most recent correspondence a couple day ago (scribbled out a few details for security):

Thats pretty much the standard email everyone gets when they have completed checks required.

All be it with a few details changed. But T is the same for all of us in the interim. That will change when you are in post in your area.


Things will l go quiet now uintill a week before your due on camp at yarn.... this is normal.

You may get a big box with kit turn up in two weeks before... you may not. it will just be some clothing and PPE.

But you are certainly on the same tarck and pattern as everyone else
