Front row alternative for divx files

[link to this post]

I have two movie libraries on my imac, one is in mp4 and m4v for watching movies on the mac, the other is in divx for watching movies on the main tv. Obviously the Front Row doesnt do divx and the the tv doesn't do m4v, without sticking a mini or appletv under the tv which i want to avoid, so is there a Front Row equivilant for the mac that can read divx and be controled using the apple remote, allowing me to get rid of the hdd space hogging second library, but still move effortlessly from one movie to another.

Boxee or, if you are on PPC, xbmc. I used the latter on my rev A mini and control it with Rowmote (not Remote, Rowmote) on my iPhone.

This confuses me.

On my Mac, with Front Row, it can play divx files with no problems at all (just drop them in your Movies folder).

All you need to do is ensure that you have Perian installed on the Mac, then it should they should play just like any other files.
