Small printer for Mac?

[link to this post]

Looking for a label printer to use with my MBP - something compact would be best for occasional use.

Does anyone have any ideas/links/suggestions?

TIA.

Steven.

Plenty around if you google for them, mostly thermal- this one seems OK.

That looks good so far - Just trying to figure out if 1: how the big/small the labels would be - if it does a large enough size that is easily readable (for example, a package slip, with order info etc), it would be ideal.

Well, the spec says:
Media Handling
Media Type Envelopes, diskette labels, name badge labels, file folder labels
Max Media Size (Custom) 58 mm
the reviews look good and Seiko have a good name afaik... but it's your decision smile

Excellent - I will look into the dimensions req. etc.

Thanks very much for all your advice/links, Bill.

Top Man! smile

Edited to add: This may be too small for anything other than addresses. Pity.

Thanks anyway.

What about a Dymo Labelwriter?

You can get either a 400 or 450 for a bit over £65, and they fully support both Mac and Windows smile

I've been using a Smart Label Printer 450 for years with excellent results. Accepts a variety of label sizes up to 54mm by 101mm which I use on packages. The font size can be varied for increased legibility.

Very nice, but it's too narrow.
