Best way to sell an MBP (15" early 2011)

[link to this post]

Hi all,

I want to sell my 15" MBP (early 2011) - as I want something lighter to carry around.

Its a lovely machine, 2.0 GHz Core i7, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, 1680x1050 ANTIGLARE screen - OS X Lion 10.7.4, and has 2 years of warranty (Apple Care) left.

Is eBay the best place for Apple sales in the UK ?? anyone know?

There's not many places, and eBay does have a large potential audience - but beware the potential scams involving PayPal. If the buyer wants to collect, insist on cash on collection.

I have sold several macbook pro's on ebay

Never been scammed and always been paid. Generally people are just out to get themselves a bargain!

Just insist on paypal payment & users with feedback. Only post to paypal verified address too.
