A bargain or what?

[link to this post]

Here's a bargain that shouldn't be missed, or should it? wink

Currently less than £100, 7" capacitive touch screen, 1GHz processor, Android v2.3 and so on!

Delivery date keeps jumping up 2011 but then it is an Australian company grin

Not a bad Spec. at all, in particular with 512MB RAM, a 1.2Mp built-in camera and a matched 800x400 screen with the latest 2.3 OS. However I can not find any user's review on this tablet for this seller, consequently it may be one of those "undetermined things" that one may have to bear in mind with.
Thanks for sharing with your finding, but I would give it a miss as it looks like "too good to be true" though for the price of it!!!

It is a good spec, even at full price, if indeed it exists!! When it was first brought to my attention about two weeks ago, the expected despatch date was May 27th. and the price just short of £100. Now it's ~£89 and despatch July 8th tongue

I suspect it's a good way of throwing money away wink But, if someone actually manages to buy one I would be interested to hear all about it, later in 2011!!

If you read through, they start a production run, with a forecast date and a low price, the price increases slowly until the run is sold out. So, when you looked it would have been running and the price slowly increasing towards the May despatch. At some point that run will have sold out, so they start a new production run with the low price but a delivery date two months later and that price will slowly creep up.

The process and logic are fine - the company credentials? No idea.

I get the logic but the process looks a little suspect. At what point do they take yer cash, at order or on delivery?? Has the May production run sold out? It doesn't say so!

Anyway, I already have a very nice Galaxy Tab grin
