Android Market

[link to this post]

I am using a Galaxy Tab P1000 running Froyo and ran into this little annoyance!

I went on the Guardian Newspaper website and it seems somehow to have hijacked my Market app. Market still works but it is now aligned to that newspaper with 'editors choice', 'staff choice' and other rubbish! 'My apps' has moved to the menu button. The search bar remains however at the top of the display.

I have tried un-installing market updates and clearing the data. For a while afterwards Market works as it should but eventually reverts back to the Guardian version with a new prompt to accept T&Cs. If I decline the T&Cs it wont work at all.

How can I get the real Market back please? crazy

You are describing google's new market place.
Editors and staff choices presumably are from google.

Same on my Desire.

Yes, a right mess!!!

My Galaxy Apollo phone has just been overwhelmed too. Don't like it frown The settings options on my phone are totally different to the Tab.

Thanks for your explanation anyway smile
