netbook or tablet purely for web browsing?

[link to this post]

Currently have a laptop that we take on holiday but it's only mainly used for web browsing. It can be a pain travelling with a big laptop so i have been thinking about a replacement to use purely for web browsing that we can take on holiday with us.

What would be best. A netbook or a tablet?

Purely for web browsing a tablet will have a better battery life and weigh less. May be some restrictions with the tablet specific browser or screen size.

Keyboard is a must, as typing with a touchscreen is a very slow affair, or is it just me. You can get bluetooth ones for the iPads, but I like the mini-laptop style.

Android Ice Cream Sandwich is not perfect, but using a mixture of built in browser, chrome and Opera not found a site that doesn't work. What is annoying is sites that present mobile content, even though tablets have a decent resolution screen.
