3G dongle + router from Spain - use in UK?

I bought a PAYG dongle + 3G router from Vodafone in Spain while on holiday and got it working OK there. Now I'd like to get them both working in the UK. Models are Huawei K3765 dongle and ZTE MF10 router.

Is this possible, and how hard is it to sort out?

I would get a UK SIM, but does that mean buying a new dongle? If I do get a new dongle, can I at least re-use the router?

I can see no reason why the dongle or the ZTE would not work in the Uk.

The idea surely was that they were portable. But the sim card card i imagine would need to be a UK one or one that allows International data roaming .

UK sims can be got ,either on a monthly deal, or even get just the sim of Ebay,

All depends on whether the dongle and router were "locked" to Vodafone Spain or "unlocked" so you could use with other networks.

Recommend you try a friend's UK dongle in the router and then their UK sim in your dongle.
