What's the best mobile broadband for the UK?

I'm looking to get myself setup with mobile broadband but I don't know where to start. I would imagine using it to check my emails and browse the internet while away from home (possibly use MSN Messenger as well). However I want the best mix of connection, download limit and price. I'm with 02 for my mobile phone and Sky for my home broadband. Could someone make a recommendation?

Coverage for where you travel is crucial.

Most serious travelling types have several dongles one main on contract and other PAYG ones so if in an area where coverage is poor they can try other ones.

Three has some of the best coverage in the UK - I find their coverage map to be pretty accurate too.

i will also vouch for three i use my Samsung galaxy S2 via three to tether this is a speed test(our mast is still on the 7.2max) so i think this is a good result i cant wait for the mast to be upgraded to the HSPA speeds see if there any improvements smile

Except mine lol every mast around me H+ mine H lol shame too because the mast is like 400 Meters away lol could get some good speeds on HSPA+

as long as your out side (not in an building) three is norm very good

3uk where i am around (Cheshire) it must be heavy used as I hardly get more then 1-2mb/s, indoors signal is iffy in a lot of places i use it (if 2-3 - bars intermittent no calls or internet,text , 3-4 + bars norm works fine), Three Need LTE now smile (pref the 150mb or 300mb configuration running on the 800/900 band)
