Mifi for UK visitors

[link to this post]

I'm visiting UK with my family (non UK residents) end of July and we will go by car from Heathrow up to Yourkshire Dales and more precisely to Bellerby.

We will bring our phones, lap-tops, iPads and other connected devices with us. We need Mifi and need some advice. I was thinking of using my iPad as a hot-spot with a sim card that I buy for the stay. Or use my existing Huawei mobile modem with a sim that I buy.

I would highly appreciate good tips of which provider with good connection and good price.

Kind regards

What works well for one provider can vary every few miles, so generally people just pick based on price, and borrow wifi from cafes if the worst happens.

If you buy a micro sim ensure it supports tethering

Three have a non contract MiFi with 12GB allowance at £134
