Three blocking proxy sites

[link to this post]

Hi, today I tried accessing several proxy sites (eg hidemyass.com) and got the message from three that the site is blocked. Tried switching to different DNS (openDNS) but it didnt help.

So let me ask you what kind of BS is this? What are Three thinking, limiting access of a paying customer(s)?

Also is there a way to bypass this block?

Have you proved you are other 18, so that parental control blocks are removed?

Actually I just rebooted my laptop and its now working fine :/ but I am pretty sure I am not imagining it, I was getting a message from three saying the site is blocked.

Weird, maybe a glitch of some kind

(btw the site I was getting redirected to is http://mobile.three.co.uk/pc/Live/pcreator/live/mwsun?)

Hi can anyone help me,
I have an old laptop with linux lubuntu and xp on it, windows xp works fine, I can connect and browse all kind of sites, linux on the other hand is having this problem, adult sites, proxy sites are getting blocked,
Does anyone know why is this happening?

I use firefox on both os, also tried swithing user agent to ie8 on linux but it didnt help
I also use pay ang go mobile broadband which I top up with my credit card so age/parental block should not be an issue here.

Anyone else is having this problem?
