Dongle for use in France

[link to this post]

I'm looking to buy a dongle that will connect me to the 3G signal in France for basic web browsing. Can I buy this here before I go?

Yes, the issue is the sim, you will want an unlocked dongle, i.e. not locked to a single network, and then pick up a sim in France.

Though with the deals on data roaming available, you may find it cheap enough to sign up to one of those.
