Why you instead of going directly to EE for a 4G plan?

I think they install an external antenna etc so could provide better coverage than EE. Not sure if EE do this though. Also 4G really isn't a broadband replacement in my eyes given that my speedtests fluctuate so wildly from 0.2Mbps to 72Mbps dependant on the time of testing. Normal landline broadband isn't this all over the place.
