3 MOBILE BROADBAND SIM CARD

New to the forum! looking for help. I have a three mobile broadband sim card and had it for a long time, along with a USB dongle all working as it should. Im looking to share the broadband connection by wireless and LAN for a few computers, I have purchased one of these http://www.rut104.co.uk/ 3G routers, I cant seem to get it to connect to the 3 network. I am tech savy but not sure if theres anything I need to do like contact 3 etc. any help apreciated

You will usually need to set the APN parameters so modem can connect properly.

Thanks for replying, yeah I have tried both APN profiles but that didn't seem to work either hmmm

The usual parameters for Three mobile broadband are:

APN
3internet

User name and password - no need to set anything.

can i just ask out of curiosity why you didn't look at something along the lines of one of these for the job you would of gained access to three 4g that way and they have the 3 APN details stored in them among other networks for automatic config, That RUT104 just seams kinda expensive for just a 14.4Mbps HSPA+ device, only a personal query if it dose the job and your happy with it its fine, but if your sharing with multiple devices id of thought the extra speed would of been welcomed
