Buffalo N150 Highpower ADSL2+ settings

[link to this post]

Hello,

I was wondering if you could help me, I've spent the last couple of hours trying to get this router to work on my BT Broadband 24mbit connection without any luck.

Could someone please tell me where i am going wrong?

g.dmt is up to 8Mbit so change that to ADSL2+ (although that wouldn't stop the other end which would fall back to g.dmt as well).

Change the vpi to 0 (vpi 0/ vci 38 is standard for the UK).

It's solved I was using the old BT phone cable.. apparently the router didn't like it, I am shocked to see that was the problem!

Cheers pal

What was wrong with the cable?

Was it ... 3&4 to 3&4 and 2&5 to 2&5 when the router required 3&4 to 2&5 and 2&5 to 3&4 by any chance?
