How to remove TAP-Win32 Adapter

[link to this post]

I have read about this issue before. I also had this on Windows 8.1, but never resolved it. It's not a massive issue, but when I boot up these adapters slow down the network connecting to the internet for around 30 seconds. I only use an Ethernet connection so, do not need these adapters.

I've tried disabling them and uninstalling them, but they always reappear!

If anyone has resolved this issue please can you let me know how you did it. Thanks.

It seems to be used by Comodo TrustConnect.

It's not the age... it's the mileage.

Never installed Trust Connect. In the past Open VPN, but uninstalled ages ago. Your link does not answer my query. Can you provide a solution??

After some fiddling about, managed to stop these adapters reappearing.

Many thanks
