FTTPoD - Are Newnet Supporting This?

[link to this post]

I've sent two emails now to sales@newnet.co.uk regarding FTTPoD and haven't got anything more back than an out of office reply.

Does anybody now if Newnet are supporting FTTPoD?

My cabinet is enabled for FTTC but my line length is too long for it to be useful. My only option now to get faster broadband is 4G (which will be expensive when it eventually arrives) or FTTPoD (which is equally likely to be expensive)

Anybody heard anything?

Thanks.

Hi Maddog,

I'm sorry you've not had a reply on this, so I have flagged this to our Sales director and I believe she has already contacted you regarding this.

I am afraid that we do not offer FTTPoD at this time, but we may be able to offer some other services that might give you some better speeds.

Regards,

Jamie

In contact now. Unfortunately nothing sensible available to to those in the last 5%. Not that it is just Newnet - nobody is offering anything. frown

I wonder if we ought to let adslmax know he can get it.

I suspect he already has it. He paid off his other leased lines to get it. smile

It was also the price you would pay for FTTPoD!

I had a connected cities voucher for £5000 and that would have been swallowed up on install and first 6 months service- AND only 500GB a month allowance!? They can jog on anyway!
