6 days and profile still 750K

Before I chase BT to try and 'unstick' the profile, is it worth re-booting/re-syncing the router ?

leave it off overnight, often seems to help get it noticed.

MaxDSL - goes as fast as it can and doesn't read the line checker first.

Just out of curiosity, how far are you from the exchange and roadside cab? I had the engineer in on Friday because my BB kept dropping out (having been quite stable at ~945kb/s down, 240 up). I'm 6km from the exchange and 4km (yes, two and a half MILES) from the roadside cabinet. Not holding out any great hopes for FTTC!

Do you know what chipset is in the exchange?

I have one of these routers in my attic but it didn't perform anywhere near was good as my Netgear DG834GT.

I am moving to BT in a week, do you think a 2wire would be good on my line with an attenuation of 65dB, and I have managed to get BT back office staff to put me on a fixed 1MB service. Should that help?
