Does anyone know how to nail down BT wholesale arm???

My local village would really benifit from a faster BB connection that we currently have and have all the resources to do the "cart horse work" ourselfs.

We have a company that will deal with all the excavation works, fibre jointers and fibre cable installation gang and people with the required permits to work in exchanges.

HOWEVER despite ALL this BT will not talk to us regarding getting this done.

There is a large pot of money that has been donated to kick it off but we cant get anywhere without BT can we???

Wholesale or Openreach - two very different bits.

What is the aim - getting FTTC to the cabinets in the area, or Fibre to the Home?

What is available at the exchange currently?

Start with your MP. There are many initiatives that central Govt. are involved in, and many MPs in rural areas see this sort of thing as a vote-winner.
