You rang?

There's no substance to that rumour at all I'm happy to say. We continue to roll out our VDSL network across South Yorkshire, and are on track to hit our 80% coverage target by early next year.

Thats good news its just a shame all the ISPs who use the network are so expensive. I was looking froward to a FTTC provider that was not BT based till i saw the prices. Some of them cost more than VMs 100meg service that's also available in my area.

Can you tell me are there any plans for more ISPs to join.

Hi Ash,

Yes, we're in talks with a number of larger ISP's about offering services over the network.

WRT them being pricey, looking at Orly's price comparison tool, the residential services available via ISP's currently signed up to DRL appear to be more than comparable with those available in the wider UK FTTC market. A typical 40/10 package is £25pm with no usage caps, however I'm happy to be told otherwise if this isn't competitive.

Hi thanks for the reply i took another look a few days ago and the prices have doped massively from the time i looked last year lol so i do apologise about that. My cab is meant to go live in September 23rd nd im thinking about switching to either ask4 or ripwire , Ask4 been the better choice for me at this min.

My workplace internet connection is provided by Ask4 and we havent had any issues with them. Thats why im tempted to move to them as well. I did ask the MD of Be Unlimited if they would consider joining but I got a less favourable reply frown
