Central Glasgow 1.7mb. AWFUL

No supplier can give me better- this is the centre of Glasgow within easy walking distance of the BBC and the Digital media village but the internet is appalling

Where roughly, road name or postcode? What is the downstream attenuation of the service you receive (get this figure from the ADSL router)

maps.thinkrboadband.com shows reasonable speeds, apart from one bad TalkTalk result, but that looks more like a faulty line.

Also have you checked whether FTTC is available? As this appears to be available in some areas around there.
