Green arrows have appeared

[link to this post]

Just wondered if anyone here could help?

I went for a drive today and noticed on the way home that some green arrows
have been spray painted most of the way up the road.
We are part of fastershire phase 2 and wondered if it had anything to do with fibre install?
According to google it might have something to do with virgin media as this is the colour they mostly use

Reading that page, it's still out for procurement at the moment so they won't have any defined plans as such what technology will be used to provide you with superfast connectivity.

I doubt these green arrows are anything to do with your broadband, unless of course it Is Virgin Media.

That website shows the contract won't likely be signed until January and then I'd still expect it some months before you see any physical work going on.

Green is the colour used for cable TV. Openreach usually use grey paint.

However it could be a contractor for anyone indicating the route of an existing Virgin Media cable.

Icarus / amarg7383

It is extremely unlikely to be anything to do with Virgin where you are.

Could be any one of a number of contractors marking the road for a utility or council. Roadworks site may give some indication.
