Jumping on the O2 Bandwagon

[link to this post]

Well getting keys to flat on 1st September so chose to join O2.

Wanted to go the Be* way, but they don't offer an "N" router.

I think it's going to be nice - I've got the line connected already and a friend in Openreach has told me about my line:

E-Side from Cab to Exchange is rated at 16dB, and the D-Side from Cab to my house is 230M long 0.5mm Copper, so all in all I should be under 20dB looploss.

Can't wait to get the keys now! Screw the furniture and decorating, I'm going to be on a 18 ~ 20dB line!

By the way, how is the O2 Wireless box III? I've seen some awful reviews of the TG585N, anyone else on the top O2 package able to comment on the router's stability?

Just called BT, gave them the address, they saw the stopped line there, and switched it back on. Job done!

He means it was switched off but not unplugged. They did the same for my line, no visit to my house needed.
