Got an email from O2 offerring me latest router free

[link to this post]

The email says you have been with us and says i can have latest router posted to me for free. All I had to do was confirm landline number and DOB. Ive been using O2 Box II on LLU for the last 6 years and it has been great. Is the newest box an improvement over box II. It says Ill have the new box witin 28 days and my sync is usually around 16mb.

Happy anywhere, as long as it ISNT talk talk.

But does accepting this offer automatically start a new 12ths min term or even worse change your current legacy package ? check the T&S's first

Yeah that's if you can find the correct t&c's their layout is a bit of a mess , & would imagine ,could be somewhat confusing for some mess to say the least what happened to the clear english campaign ?lol

Got that as well - clicked and signed up.

I searched for T&Cs, but couldn't see any - seems like a simple "hey loyal customers" offer (too good to be true?), which was good as I've been on a legacy package for over 5 years now, but was looking into upgrading the router myself anyway as my new laptop is WirelessN but my BoxII isn't.

to get the best out of the new router that is coming to replace my box II, are there any set up tips you would advise me to use ? relevant links etc ?
