Broadband is not Working in My Laptop

Couple of days a go suddenly broadband stop working in my Laptop. It is showing red cross sign right bottom of my laptop on internet icon. Please tell me how can I solve this issue. frown

First step do other devices you have connect to your broadband connection too?

Second, how was the laptop connecting? If via Wi-Fi then try using an Ethernet cable (usually a yellow lead that came with the broadband router).

Third, have you tried a full restart of the laptop

True, grey/black/white are common, but yellow is the standard sent out with broadband routers for colour co-ordinated sockets on hardware.

The first question I would ask is was anything changed at about the time it stopped working (even something you think is not connected.

If you're using Windows 10, then have you accidentally turned on Flight mode (this disables all radios on the device) To check, left click on the network icon on the bottom right of the screen. If it is on, then click on it to turn it off.
