Cheers.

Got my application pack through today, along with a little card telling me when all Kilmarnock's games are played.

They did manage to make a bit of a mess of my address, sending my application pack to my address in Kilmarnock, but thinking I want the service at a similarly named street in Irvine...

out of intrest, what made you go with the xDSL service over cable? i too have been looking at smallworldmedia and would be intrested in what speeds you get on the service.

i work in the callcentre across the road from their head office (in irvine) so i may pop in for a chat :-)

No cable in my street. I was gutted. I'd have gone for 30mbit like a shot.

18mbit, line dependent with dsl as opposed to 30mbit with cable. No contest really.

indeed - what i meant is what actual speed are you recieving on it? e.g. try a speedtest at http://www.speedtest.ndo.com

Ah, I get you.

I get roughly 3mbit on max where I am. Sucky phone line.

I probably won't see MUCH improvement with 2+ but the extra upload will be nice, and I'd be moving isp anyway.
