The answer to my question is probably asap but wondering if there is a best time during the month to request the transfer please? I'm moving to Zen as Coms speeds are erratic at best. During the day I can get 65/16 most of the time but come the evening it drops to < 5 on numerous occasions. We run a web business from home so need reliability. We are not huge data users but it's almost as though some speed throttling is going on.
Zen guarantee 40 down min at all times so it's time to migrate. The Coms support guys also sound like they are asleep so not hanging around.
Is there a best time to quit as I'm keen to avoid a full months charge and chasing for a refund. Zen advise 5 - 10 days to switch the fibre and another 10 to switch the line and calls provision (currently being overcharged by BT). I also reckon I can save around £15 per month, hopefully with a better service.
Any thoughts on the best date to switch please or just get on with it. I'm pretty sure it will be Zen but are there any other good guys who can do fibre, line and calls reliably. I don't mind paying more for a decent service.
