Vivaciti very low download speeds

[link to this post]

FTTC download speeds dropped from >70Mbps to 0.3Mbps this morning.
Upload only dropped to 13Mbps.
Vivaciti tech support said large amount of traffic due to Windows upgrade ebing downloaded by businesses was impacting Newcastle node.
Seems to me that the download speed shouldnt have dropped that much unless there was a fault or serious lack of capacity.
Anyone else had problems this morning.
Everything back to normal now 5:30 pm.

For me it is an evening problem, my BQM is full of vivid colour. Put in a call to support earlier they said it looks like a VLAN issue. The BQM seems to have gone crazy about 4 pm.

Earlier was showing 34 Mbps down 0.9 up now showing just 3 megs each way.

Any ISP that thinks that selling my click traffic is acceptable is MisinPHORMed
VIVACITI 80/20 FTTC
SWPM PCP29 - Still suffering Random drops and intermittent high error counts

BQM - a lot less red these days

This thread may also be relevant if you can sort the wheat from the chaff.

Some (probably dark fibre) backhaul somewhere, one of BT Wholesale, Entanet, TalkTalk Business got in a right mess at the time of the reports in this thread.

These networks can and do sell capacity to each other.

The indispensable man or woman passes from the scene, and what happens next is more or less the same thing as was happening before.
My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk. Domains, site and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Plusnet UnLim Fibre (FTTC). Sync 57676/14040kbps @ 600m. - BQM

Thanks for thread
Looking at my SamKnows graphs it seems Tuesday am was probably just as bad as Wed.
Havent had problems with Vivaciti before and of course with Fibre stuck with a 1 year contract, but at least I hardly ever use the connection on weekday ams.
