Carrier Wales MPLS network

[link to this post]

Hello, Has anyone used Carrier Wales MPLS network in north Wales and would you recommend them looking at them as BT can only get us to 9MB on FTTC just outside town of Ruthin.

Well 9MB is pretty good on FTTC ... pretty close to the 76 Mbps maximum.

Unless they mean 9Mbps? Which is what the "can only get" bit means?

I get 8.8MB/s on full sync FTTC

The provider Carrier Wales is a business focussed provider and is using the rather expensive FibreSpeed network that covers various business parks in North Wales, so its a case of getting a quote for the speeds you want.

So all depends on the price they quote you and your distance to the FibreSpeed network
