Just checked 'My Account' and it still shows my old details and no online status, no usage etc so obviously not changed over yet. I hope I'm not going to find some phantom usage when it does work.

I'm also intrigued at being told by suppport that the mass throttling we all experienced over the past few days was due to my line training. Don't think so. I do notice that my download speed has lost over 200KB/sec.

What a farce...

I suspect everyone has had their profile reset to 12db. When i first changed over Paul said he had adjusted mine to Interleaving On and 9db snr.

Week later and its now Interleaving OFF and 12db snr. Im willing to wait to change my profile manually when the feature is activated, as its quicker to do it myself

Why its been changed i dunno never asked it to be

Re: ADSL24 > Coms migration. What could possibly go wrong?

[re: deleted] [link to this post]

A quick update, my upload has been dropped from a sync of 1165 to 682 on migration just got round to sending a ticket about this and waiting to see if we can finally get back to the speed I was at before the migration..

I got the upload sorted over the weekend which was synced at 8meg when it was 12 meg before that was sorted quickly by the support staff which was nice.

So hoping to get back to my adsl24 service speeds.

What did they do to correct your speed? Was it the SNR set too too high?

My SNR was set to 12db it was reduced to 6db and my DL sync went from 8Mbps back to 12 meg. Not sure if that was the only thing that got my speed back tho.

My UL sync is still too low and has a SNR of 7.0, it was set at 7bd before the switch and yet was synced higher. So i guess it's not just the SNR adjustment?

Think the people who are complaining of slower sync speeds are finding their SNR set to 12db. As mentioned in another post, mine has gone from 6db to 12 db.

So maybe the default for all users is an SNR of 12db?

Hi All,

As promised, a quick note about the MyAccount.

Thanks for all of your feedback on the Coms MyAccount, its great to see so many users logging in already. Were working on the points raised above including off peak usage monitoring, missing Direct Debits and the IP details being displayed. Well be making changes to the site throughout today and the rest of the week. Just to reassure you the issue here is with whats being displayed on the portal, not what is setup on your account. Usage for ADSL24 customers will only be monitored on peak and any existing Direct Debits have been moved across to your Coms account.
If your account has not yet migrated to Coms, you will have limited visibility around usage stats etc until it completes, however we wont be implementing any wall garden restrictions during this time of no visibility.

If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me or email the team on [email protected].

Thanks

Dan
