Start was a bit shakey but basics are working.

I've emailed a few points, like webmail access, to the director I'm dealing with.

We are due to talk tomorrow so will get chance to comment then.

WOW now that is a coincidence...
A short while after i posted it seems they have indeed done something, going to the mypipex page now it has a new look similar to their main web page rather than the old style mypipex used to have.
Seems they done something right (thats if it all works) and got it up just in the nick of time they promised, so well done to them for once (of course i reserve the right to scrap that well done if it doesnt work fully though hehe)
Shame my old username etc doesnt work id like to see what they have done to the mypipex pages, perhaps someone could upload some images to imagepile or similar......

Though obviously REMEMBER TO EDIT/BLUR OUT ANY PERSONAL INFO LIKE YOUR USERNAME ETC FIRST

Be nice to see if Pipex have taken a leap forward and make a nice change to talk about something good that they have done rather then the regular posts.

I did actually contact the powers that be and warn them that you were watching

I knew it was going live but couldn't say as that, in my mind, was part of the preview deal.

They are still letting me in so I nosed around.

First objection - The idiot Hoff is displayed on all the pages.

When I left I was on a fixed 2Meg line, with unlimited access, and 8 mailboxes. I now apparently have Up to 8Meg, with a 15Gb cap and only 5 mailboxes.

On the home page - Current Statement 14/07/2006 Next Statement 14/12/2006

On the Invoice page - Last Statement 14/10/2006 Next Statement 29/11/2006

There is a box inviting me to got to Webmail Inbox - the link says:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /mypipex/horde/imp/redirect.php on this server.

There is a link to Are You Moving? which seemed decent of them, but it only refers to moving house, not parachuting out.

Not much change really.

That's an IP filtering issue and they are looking at it right now.

At least the advertising is greatly reduced from previous sites but the Hoff looks like he's around for a while - needs Pipex for his bar bill (alledgedly)

Did the Hoff get something into his contract that he would be prominent on the web page? I am just wondering what happens if either the Hoff becomes an even bigger embarrassment and they want to disassociate themselves from him or they want to use someone else. If it takes them as long to rework the site as it has this last time the Hoff could be on there long after his last drink.
