ZoneAlarm Keys

I just tried to renew my ZoneAlarm but I am informed by them (ZoneAlarm) that because the "Key" was supplied by Pipex I will have to renew through them (Pipex). Is this still possible after the takeovers. I can get to the right area on MyPipex but it doesn't seen to work correctly.

Am I wasting my time?

I don't use a software firewall, as my router has one. So can't recommend a firewall

Just to add that, if you do want a software firewall, just use the one built into Windows since XP SP2!

Chelinda, I would just remove your version of Zone Alarm and go to zonelabs.com and download the free version. It works brilliantly and I've used it for years and years. I use Avast for my antivirus software (free version)
