hey go with pipex if you want to upload faster than download

[link to this post]

i was with bulldog for about 6 years move house twice and still went back to them

only complaint i had was my internet was only 2 mb and that was the fastest they could supply at the time

after talking to bulldog i was offered the same internet at £10 a month

a few years go by and pipex informs me they they have bought bulldog out and they will be offering me the same price as before but now with the (power) of 8 megs

thinking ive got the deal of the decade a unlimited 8 meg connection for £10 a month i was a happy bunny

but soon i was a sad little bunny

about 4 months ago talktalk come around and offered 20meg in our area and since then my speed had slowed and slowed

i dont know if there is some connection between pipex and talktalk

but at times i can get faster up loads than my downloads and i dont even have fast uploads

on a good day my downloads will hit 50kb/s but on average its around 34k/bs my uploads and sometimes get more than this
it is funny before talktalk came around i was getting around 4 megs on average
ive been intouch with pipex and was asked to move my pc to the hallway but ive no electricity there and the whole process would take me hours just to set it all up not to mention i wouldnt beable to get out the house during the whole process

but it dosent explain why i can get quicker speeds at off peak

right now at 4:30 in the after noon i am getting 0.78kbs download and 0.38kbs upload in a another hour my download will be slower than my upload

it sure dont feel like 8 megs

i wouldnt even complain if i was getting 2-4 megs as the price is quite cheap but i am now almost at dial up speed

never ever will i touch a pipex or tiscali product again

and im moving my isp

can anyone show a lay out of a letter i should write to pipex to to change isp and avoide hassle after moving

I don't know if there is some connection between Pipex and Talktalk
TalkTalk purchased Tiscali recently and therefore own Pipex.
