Plusnet - Cheeper

[link to this post]

Just received this email from Plusnet

Hello.

Great news! We're reducing the price you pay for your broadband.

Back in January we announced that the price you pay for your Extra service is going down. We'll be making this price change on the 21st June, so your first bill after this date will be at your new subscription price of £11.49 a month. Keep an eye out for your next bill to see just how much you'll be saving.

Why not save even more money by bringing your home phone service to us, and benefit from the convenience of having both services from one great award-winning provider?

Our line rental is just £11.99 a month, and includes evening & weekend calls to UK* numbers. Or if you prefer not to worry about what time you're making calls, our Anytime package offers you the ability to make UK* calls at any time of the day, and is just £3.50 a month extra when you take our line rental.

All the best,

Nick Rawlings
Commercial & Marketing Director, Plusnet

I currently on Plusnet extra at £17.99 a month, does this mean my broadband will be getting cheeper?

I think you must be on an exchange which has been reclassified as Market 3 by OFCOM.

Brilliant, not complaining if something is cheeper.

Thanks Plusnet, yet another reason to stay with plusnet.

Yep, it means your market has changed from 2 to 3, so we're lowering your broadband price.

Don't see why as Plusnet increased theirs at start of 2011

Looking at my invoices I paid £11.25 in Dec 2010 and £11.99 in Jan 2011. Part of this increase due to rise in VAT.

My Value goes up 50p next month but that's deferred increase from 12 months ago.
