Hold music

[link to this post]

Just been speaking to PN customer services and noticed that the hold music was a tune by Heaven 17 which prompted me to ask the customer service chap whether PN had a policy of just playing hold music by Sheffield bands/artists, and was told that the hold music is by Yorkshire bands/artists so I suggested they include some tunes from Cabaret Voltaire. "No problem, I'll suggest it" he replied - apparently they are open to "requests" from customers.

Would you rather have a tune from Plusnet's brass band? wink

All this "made in Yorkshire" nonsense going on by plusnet PR department is a bit too cheesy if you ask me.

They would do more good if they concentrated on the link in the email requesting customer service feedback not continually pulling a blank.

Take the s off the https and you get to what they probably intended.

The problem with some of these surveys (and to clarify I'm not referring to plusnet) is that they fall on deaf ears anyway, and any complaints are handled in the wrong way. If I have a problem with customer support with a company it's almost always due to the company attitude/management, and not down to the actual person i've dealt with, and I fear that the feedback from the surveys is acted on in the wrong way and to the wrong people.

Remove the 's' hit enter and it is automatically reinserted and back to square one. Does not inspire confidence for them handling something more complex.

Not on my Firefox it doesn't, but your link gets there complete with its 's', so that was not as much a problem as PN directing to completely the wrong page.
I wonder how they would handle a party in a brewery :}

Obviously FF 12.0 still has a little to learn, though it could be due to the security add-ons I have loaded.
