Madasafish to Plusnet Fibre - how much, and how?

[link to this post]

Hi.

I'm an existing Madasafish customer considering moving to Plusnet Value Fibre. Do I count as an 'existing' customer (so £25 installation charge) or 'new' (£50)?

Also - I'm sure I read that the best way to manage the move is to phone the Customer Options Team - is that still true?

Thanks.

I don't know the answer to the first question but on the second, almost certainly yes and it is also going to get you the best deal on the installation charge (which I would interpret as zero, not £25).

Kevin - thanks for the reply.

I've just phoned COT and they've said it's a £25 install fee (as I'm sticking with my BT phone line) plus the modem p&p.

As long as you're happy with that (or stuck in a contract) - I moved mine to Plusnet some time ago.

Oh - and it's the router P&P, not the modem smile
