Fibre Order - no confirmation yet?

I ordered FTTC last week for my new house that I move in next weekend. Next Monday was available as an install date, so I chose that.

I'm a little concerned that with a week to go, I've had no real confirmation of any of this? Just a confirmation to say my Direct Debit has been submitted to my bank.

Is this normal or should I be getting on the phone to PN?

If you haven't had confirmation of the install date then it's probably unlikely anyone is going to turn up tomorrow. Plusnet normally sends a text and email confirmation once the install date is confirmed. So yes, probably worth chasing them tomorrow - I don't think anyone from the Installs team will be available now.

EDIT: the BTOR engineer will need access to the house, if you haven't moved in yet can that still be arranged?

I got a txt about my service going live on the midnight 19/03/2013 and that was about it.

I queried the DCT on the plusnet forums about it and they confirmed that it was booked in for 18th 1-6pm, guess you could ask there first?

I got a text about my service going live on the midnight 28/03/2013.

I got an email to confirm that the order has been accepted and the appointment booked for 27/03/2013 between 8 AM and 1 PM.

I received a text this morning saying that my install would happen on the 3rd of next month.

Not too far away, but [censored] disappointing that I'm over a week without internet :/

Hi,

Sorry that you didn't get you initial appointment that you requested, the one we gave was the earliest one available when we placed the order.

Everything is still booked in for you as per your latest update.
