Slow throughput

Hi all

I have been on Plusnet's 80/20 product for 12 months now. Over the last few months i have noticed my speed gradually decline to this:

My estimate was 62.9 mb and my current profile is 55mbps however I cannot get above 30ish mbps. It is the same if i connect direct to the modem via PPPOE. An openreach engineer came out last weekend and couldn't find any faults so plusnet have arranged a 2nd BT visit for a 2nd opinion. PN claim everything is ok their end.

Can anyone suggest anything else that may be causing the slow throughput?

I presume this is why plusnet are saying everything is ok their end

The current line speed should match the IP profile shown in your first post, but that's the only thing so far that's incorrect.

It is the same if i connect direct to the modem via PPPOE.


At least the modem or wireless have already been ruled out. Did the engineer see the same speeds as you when he tested?
