Router Password

[link to this post]

A friend hasn't had any broadband for over a week. He's tried switching off the router leaving it for over a minute and reconnecting, without success. He uses a laptop to connect wirelessly. Apparently the "internet" light on his PN supplied router is permanently off.

I've suggested trying a different router. I think I can workout the broadband username as username@plusdsl.net but he can't remember the password. Is there any means of obtaining this from PN?

Ditto Plus.net are quite good when calling about this thing. Minimal faffing about.

Does he know the password for logging into the Member Centre? It's the same password.

If you don't know that if you confirm billing/payment information they will give you the password.

Yes. Sorry - I should have added a "tongue" to my post. ("There's a hole in my bucket ...").

Thanks for that Bob. He has that written down so I'll put that into a different router. Just to confirm, the BB username is the same and the password is the same as those used to log in to the member centre?
